Organized by Taekwondo Center and hosted by the World Taekwondo, the Muju Taekwondo Online 2022 World Taekwondo Poomsae Open Challenge will be held online three times this year, divided into Challenge I (March), Challenge II (July), and Challenge Final (October).

Challenge I is a G2 grade competition, held from March 14 to April 20, and will be held in the senior national team category, individual and doubles and team events, and Challenge II will be held from July 11 to August 21, as well as individual and doubles and team events.
Only holders of an official certificate issued by Kukkiwon or the World Taekwondo Federation are eligible to participate, and only one person recommended by each continent and national association can participate. Only holders of the official dan certificate can participate in the individual competitions in the open division. In the doubles event (2 players) and team event (3 players), at least one person per team must have level 4 or higher to participate.

The total prize money for this competition is about 160 million won, and senior winners (1st to 8th) in the final of the online Poomsae Challenge will be given ranking points approved by the World Taekwondo.
